                Minutes of a meeting of the Parish Council held on

            Wednesday 3rd April 2013 at 7.30 p.m. in the Cator Hall

Present: Mrs M Curry, Mr L Haslam, Mr R Brown, Mrs S Wilson,Mr P Lambert, Mrs J Chow.

                      Application Number 12/01594/FULM

                      Bilsthorpe Business Park Eakring Road Bilsthorpe

The Meeting studied the plans and debated the merits of this application and then Mrs Curry called for a vote. For Nil Against 6 Absent 1. The reasons against supporting the proposal included:

a.       The Parish Council only found out by accident, and at the last minute, about the scheme.

b.      The minimum consultation that should take place on such a major development is for the applicants to contact the Parish Council and explain their plans and hold a village presentation.

c.       Concern that the correct assessments, in depth , not carried out.

d.      Feel that need to see actual examples, to scale, of the panels to be used- to form a proper opinion.

e.       Concerns on possible effects on wildlife- Concur with comments of Notts Wildlife Trust.

f.        Need more details of any bases to be used and what made of and any effect on land drainage as already water drainage problems towards Eakring

Plans were viewed for this application and after discussion a vote was taken.

                        Application Number 13/00305/FUL

                        Householder application for two storey and single storey side extension

                        (following demolition of conservatory)

                         Ivy Cottage Kirklington Road Eakring

The plans were displayed and after discussion a vote was taken.

For 6 Against Nil Absent 1

Any Other Business:

1.      The contents of the letter from NSDC : ‘Publicity during the Pre-Election Period’ were  brought to the attention of Parish Councillors.

 

There being no further business the meeting closed at 8.30 p.m.
