The minutes of the meeting held on 14th
April were read.It was proposed by Mrs
S Wilson, seconded by Mr R Brown and agreed unanimously that these be signed as
a true record.
Proposed green waste bin scheme Mrs Curry explained details
of this scheme which NSDC hoped to introduce in April 2011.Leaflets would be distributed to each
household in the village in the near future.
Planning anomalies the PC discussed and sympathised with
parishioners over a number of apparent anomalies between policy and
practice at District Council level particularly in relation to
planning.The Chairman of the PC
said that she hoped to meet the leader of NSDC in the near future to gain clarification
on a number of issues.
Bus shelter- it was noted that this new structure still has
barriers round it and is unsafe to use.A reply is expected from those in charge of erecting the shelter
Hedge cutting, debris on roads it was noted that Cllr Stewart
had agreed to look into the NCC aspect of this matter.
There were no county or district
councillors in attendance.

The first half of the Precept has arrived
in the PC funds.
The PC considered presently how parishioners were made aware of
Planning Applications relating to properties in Eakring.Alternative proposals were debated.
It was noted that the interactive speed sign had now been
removed from Main Street.It was decided to see
if time could be arranged for it to be placed on Kirklington Road.
